Derbyshire Trefoil Guild
The Trefoil Guild is ‘guiding for adults’ – a source of fun and friendship. The Trefoil Guild is a national and International organisation of over 20,000 members mostly women and men who have been or still are connected with Guiding and Scouting. Members live the spirit of Guiding and Scouting in their own community by offering practical help to Girlguiding UK and supporting Guiding and Scouting worldwide.
Who can Join?
Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who has been or still is a member of Girlguiding UK or the Scout Association and to those who have never been involved in Guiding or Scouting, but who subscribe to our aims and principles.
What does a Trefoil Guild do?
Membership offers meeting with like-minded friends to develop interests, tackle new challenges, enjoy outings and holidays together. There are also Trefoil events and activities at local, county, region, national and international level and many opportunities to help out at District, Area, County, National and International activities.
Each local Trefoil Guild provides all the above for its own members as well as further opportunities to support Guiding and Scouting in their community.
The Trefoil Guild Voyage Award gives members the chance to create their own adventures and to gain their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. The challenges cover five sections: Service, Myself, Teamwork, Skills and Explore my World.
The Star Challenge has now been added to our adventures.
